Diego Rother

Research

I’m currently a Postdoctoral fellow in the Center for Imaging Science at Johns Hopkins University, working with professors Rene Vidal and Greg Hager. I’m interested in theory and applications of Computer Vision and Computer Graphics.

I have obtained my PhD from the Scientific Computation program at the University of Minnesota, under the supervision of Prof. Guillermo Sapiro.

I spent two summers at Google, doing internships under the supervision of Tom Boulos (in 2006) and Lance Williams (in 2007).

I did my M.Sc. on Biological Sciences/Neuroscience supervised by professors Ruben Budelli, Angel Caputi and Rafael Canetti at the School of Sciences  of the Universidad de la República, Uruguay.

I did my B.Sc. at the Electrical Engineering Department of the Universidad de la República, Uruguay.
