I am currently working at the Vision, Dynamics and Learning lab, Johns Hopkins University, with Prof. Rene Vidal, as a visiting scholar. I am an Assistant Professor  with School of Information and Communication Engineering (SICE), Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT). My researches are developing algorithms for high dimensional pattern analysis and learning.  My research interests include manifold learning (e.g., multiple manifolds learning and bundle manifold learning), sparse coding, low rank model, dictionary learning, subspace clustering, matrix completion, and their applications in computer vision and pattern recognition.

I visited at Visual Computing group, Microsoft Research Asian (MSRA), as a Visiting Researcher, from July 2011 to April 2012, with Dr. Zhouchen Lin and Yi Ma.

I received PhD in Signal and Information Processing from BUPT in Dec. 2007, supervised by Prof. Jun Guo, and received B.E. from Jilin University (JLU) in July 2002.
