Registration

Thanks to the support from DARPA, NSF, and The Whitaker Foundation, we are able to offer registration for a low fee of $150 ($100 for students), which includes: workshop proceedings on CD-ROM, workshop material, all coffee breaks, two lunches, and one cocktail reception.


Registration Information

  1. Each registrant must fill out an online registration form (in MS-Word or PDF format) and submit the registration fee in the amount of $150 ($100 for students). Payment must be received by April 19, 2004. After that date, the registration fee will be increased to $180 ($120 for students). On site registration is possible.
  1. Registration is on a first come - first served basis and is closed once 130 complete registrations have been received.
  1. Payment should be in the form of a credit card (Visa or Mastercard only) or a check (must be drawn on a U.S. Bank), payable to The Johns Hopkins and sent to the following address:

  2. There will be no refund on confirmed complete registrations.

Student Grants

A limited number of student grants will be offered to selected student authors and student attendees to help defray their expenses of attending the workshop. Grant recipients will have their registration fees waived and some travel expenses reimbursed (grants ranging from $300-$500 will be available - Overseas travel is not supported). To apply, please prepare a one-page resume and a one-page statement of why travel assistance is necessary in the individual's case including a reasonable budget estimate. Please send both documents to Prof. John Goutsias. All applicants must submit their application and register by April 19, 2004. Student grants will be awarded based on merit, need, and relevance to the applicant's career.
