Shown here are five simulated S-band range profiles
from this database for the X29 aircraft. The
red trace is a normalized plot of the magnitude of the complex-valued
range profile. Also shown is a three-dimensional rendering of the
X29 at the associated orientation. The radar system is to the left
of the aircraft in these figures, so that the range axis of the plot
and the radar line-of-sight coincide. These range profiles were simulated
using xpatch, a state-of-the-art HRR simulator provided by Wright
Laboratory.
