FLIR images of various CAD models

To generate these databases, CAD models for the targets were rendered using Silicon Graphics (SGI) workstations. Using PRISM (Physically Realizable Infrared Signature Model) FLIR simulation software developed at Keweenaw Reseach Center, thermodynamic profiles for the targets have been simulated. Using the SGI, the targets were rendered, incorportaing perspective projection, and rotated to each integer azimuth between 0 and 359 degrees. This single angle specifies the orientation of the ground based targets rendered here. The databases have been used for experiments on performance analysis for ATR systems, and characterization of thermodynamic state for targets observed via FLIR sensors. The data is available frame by frame for each azimuth, or for the entire range of azimuths between 0 and 359 in compressed tar format.
